Revolutionary Women- Blazing a Trail and Leading the Pack

Monday, February 3rd, 2020

On Wednesday, January 29, 2020, we celebrated the successes and challenges of some of Philadelphia’s leading female executives as they discussed their journeys and encouragement of gender diversity in the workplace at Revolutionary Women- Blazing a Trail and Leading the Pack. The CACC proudly partnered with the British American Business Council, Asian, Eurasian, French and Swedish Chambers, and Select Greater Philadelphia.

Thank you to the six speakers who shared their stories: Debbie Epstein Henry, Founder of DEH Consulting, Speaking, Writing; Co-Founder of Bliss Lawyers; and Vice President and Board Member of The Forum of Executive Women, moderated the panel.  Distinguished panelists included: Vanessa Z. Chan, Ph.D., Brassington Professor of Practice at Penn Engineering, Board Member, and Angel Investor; Julie Coker, President & CEO, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau; Deborah Driscoll, MD, Senior Vice President, Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania, Vice Dean for Professional Services, Perelman School of Medicine, and Luigi Mastroianni, Jr. Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Bethany Edwards, Co-Founder & CEO, LIA Diagnostics; and Jami Wintz McKeon, Partner and Chair, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

Many thanks to the evening’s sponsors: The Forum of Executive Women, HSBC Bank, Morgan Lewis, Penn Medicine, The Museum of the American Revolution, and Brûlée Catering.

This was truly a remarkable event, and we are especially grateful to the British American Business Council for hosting and organizing such an inspiring forum and to the Museum of the American Revolution for the fantastic venue.
