It was only four short months ago that Mario Sepulveda and 32 other Chilean miners were rescued from a collapsed mine in Copiapo, Chile after 69 days trapped underground. Mario became known to the world as “Super Mario” for his comedic broadcasts that helped keep his fellow miners in good sprits during a time when all could have been overcome by dispair. The world watched as Mario was rescued, but now the infamous miner is shifting focus back to the devastation caused by the February 2010 earthquake in Chile. Mario and Miner’s Miracle are determined to help their country rebound by building homes for families that were unexpectedly displaced.

Join the Chilean & American Chamber of Commerce, the Chilean Committee for the Delaware Valley, the Consulate of Chile and the Gabriela Mistral Foundation to meet Mario Sepulveda and help rebuild Chile on Friday, March 25.
